Hershey, PA

Over Memorial Day Weekend we took a road trip to Pennsylvania to see the famous Hershey. I went when I was a kid but don't remember much about it besides my blow up Hershey bar pillow. We had heard that it has really grown a lot and was a great place to take the kids. People also say that the whole town smells like chocolate, now that's a myth. We did not smell chocolate until we were in chocolate world. Anyways, we thought it would be fun to go check out and the kids didn't mind the idea either. Our journey started out really well until we took our first break about half way into it. Little Man had a blow out, not as bad as the competition blow out but bad enough that MacDonald's had a big mess to clean up. So if you can imagine whats going on through my head, great this is what I get to deal with the whole trip! He did have some issues but we were prepared and ready for whatever he decided to give us each day! We love you little man!! Our first day we went to Hershey Park, they had so many rides for the kids meaning little man was able to ride a lot of what was there. The kids had a blast moving from ride to ride since the lines weren't that long. One of my favorites to watch the kids on is the Frog Hopper, I'm sure you've seen it before just under a different name but it's the kids mini dropper. Just to watch their expressions is so funny, they don't know when they are going to drop so they really get a little thrill it's great to watch.

We spent a full day there just taking it easy and riding everything they wanted as many times as they wanted.

The next day went went back to Hershey Park for the morning and then headed over to Chocolate World. We did just about everything you could do in that place from the 3-D movie to the chocolate tasting to the trolley ride through town and the ride that showed you how the chocolate was made. Then to finish it all off we went shopping.

The next day we went to a small park called Dutch Wonderland. This park is totally geared towards little kids, next year Mackenzie would probably be bored. Little Man rode everything but the 2 roller coasters which the girls really enjoyed. This place was a lot of fun and the shows were really good too.
Over all we had a great trip and would recommend it to anyone with little kids, they had a blast.
Our Silly Kids!

To many pics to post so check out the slide show.
Also sorry about the first pic, I love it but little man was asleep in the back so don't think I'm a mean mom. Hey, you snooze you loss okay just play'in!:)
