Cupcake Disappointment

I Love Cupcakes! So one day I was on a cupcake blog and it had a ranking of cupcake places around the US. To my surprise there was a shop in my area ranked in the top 20. On their site they have pictures of all the different cupcakes and flavors. I was so excited and finally had the time this past weekend to go try them out. So we got directions and headed out. We found the place and went inside, okay kind of a weird set up. There was a nice girl standing in a little nook with a table in front of her with cupcakes under glass dome cake plates. I told her this was our first time here so if she could explain the different flavors. Well first of all there was only 6 different flavors and they were just normal size cupcakes. I guess I was expecting something a little different, like the larger size cupcakes; I even have one of those pans. Plus they were charging $2.50 per cupcake, which for a speciality cupcake I guess that's alright. Anyways, we bought all 6 flavors to try. We got home and had our treat which wasn't exactly what I was expecting. Yes, the cupcakes were fresh and the frosting was delicious but I wouldn't say that they were the best I have ever had. I guess a 3 out of 5 stars. Now this is my opinion so if you live in my area and you want to try them out go ahead so you can form your own opinion. I recommend the buckeye cupcake, there is a candy buckeye inside which is so delicious.
