Kenzie wanted to get together with some of her friends for a little air time. There is this place with an indoor jump park and skate park. So the girls spent 2 hours jump'in like crazy!
(I still haven't learned the art of photography in low lighting moving fast, one day I should master it)
After getting their jump on we came back to our house for some lunch and fried ice cream which Kenzie had picked.
Plus Kenzie got her Swim Party she always wanted! It was 80 degrees but they we're still freezing. I guess that's what you get for jumping in the pool in February.
One of her favorite gifts, she's a little obsessed with Frappuccinos.
Fried Ice Cream with toppings for dessert. And of course more freezing cold pool time!
Her family get together with a cake and all!
I wanted to do something different for her this year. So I told her to pick 4 colors and we would see how this cake turned out. This style of cake is all over pinterest and different blogs with layers of 8 and 12. But I only had the energy to produce a 4 layer cake mainly cause I only have 2 pans and I didn't want to be baking all day. I think the best part about this cake is how vibrant the colors turned out and that it was homemade not a box. If you are interested in this style of cake I used the recipe from this site; Love and Olive Oil. I made the cake but didn't try the icing, I'm not very confident in my icing skills.
Sure hope her Birthday was Great and a day to Remember!
