Fall Break at Disneyland 2010

Well this whole Fall Break is new to us, so when the girls found out that they got a whole week off school in October they were way excited. And then when we said we were heading to Disneyland for 3 days they just couldn't wait. The only problem was is that everyone else that was on Fall Break decided to go to Disney too, all those dang Utah people crowding everything. No offence, but did they all have to have their family reunions there too. No worries though we had a blast, the only real crazy day was Friday since they closed the park early. For the extra fee of $50.00 a person you could get back in for the Halloween party. Sorry just think that's a little ridiculous when you already pay over $100.00 to get in for one day. So we decided to head over to California Adventure but the only problem with that is that everyone else that didn't want to pay the extra money went over there too. So we called it an early night to refresh us for the next day of craziness. But Saturday turned out great and we had a blast riding rides and meeting characters and just doing some of our favorite things.
Here is a collage of some of our pics.
This year we are really missing Kings Island since we went there almost every weekend in the Summer/Fall season for the last 2 years. Our favorite time was always the fall, it's cool outside and they put on a great Halloween party area for the kids with no extra fees! So I just wanted to take the kids to some type of park for some Halloween fun. Now I probably won't go to Disney to expect what we used to have any more but the park is decorated really nice and of course it's Disney so it's always fun. We also let the kids go to the parade in their costumes. They had fun being dressed up and getting a lot of attention from people commenting on their costumes. Oh course, Kenzie had people asking about her costume all the time and where did we get it. Well my mom made it for her and she looked great in it. She even played the part of the nasty Queen, always having that frown on her face. I didn't mind cause it was kind of funny watching her with everyone but sure wish she would have smiled for the family pic, that's okay it's not the end of the world it turned out cute anyway.

Okay, I never thought that I would be one of those moms that you see with a kid on a leash. But stranger things have happened and we call it Mason's little buddy. He is a very active little boy and sometimes he is very hard to control. We were worried with all those people that he would take off and we would lose him. So that's why our poor son looked like a dork at Disneyland for some of the time. The funny thing is, is that he loved having his buddy on his back!
