All Dressed Up

So here they are ladies and gentleman the costumes for Halloween 2010. Paul's family had a Halloween party & the kids were really excited to wear their costumes. Of course, I was the stress ball about them not to get all messy or spill something on themselves. They did good even with dinner not to trash them. We have a couple Halloween events that they get to go to so I just wanted to keep them nice. Sorry that's my crazy side coming out. Anyways, I think they look adorable.
Woody

First up it's little man, he really loves Toy Story 2 so hence his Woody costume. I love Halloween and I'm one of those moms that likes homemade costumes by my mother of course. But this year was why to crazy with the move and October kind of snuck up on me this year. So I searched everywhere for the best Woody costume and I found it and I have to say it looks pretty good. We did buy him his own cowboy boots, there even Woody boots that light up. How cool is that!

Jessie

Next up is Mariah in her oh so cute Jessie costume. I am not one of those moms that expect my kids to all dress up in the same theme but in this case it was all her idea. She really likes Jessie so I searched for a good costume for her too and found a great one & of course we found her a very cute pair of cowgirl boots too. Her favorite part of the whole costume are the heel boots, she just thinks she is hot stuff with those on.

Miss Queen of Hearts

Last but not least is kenzie with her Queen of Hearts costume. Now this one is not store bought but made by my very own mother. She has been making the girls costumes forever so we couldn't even let her have a rest this year. I took all the measurements and kenzie picked out the pattern & colors while my mom bought the material and put it together. My mom has really put together some difficult costumes and unfortunately this one is no different. She even said maybe next year we could find one a little bit easier to make but deep down I know she secretly loves it. Thanks mom for all your hard work, it looks amazing! Kenzie's favorite part was when I drew the heart lips on.
Who are those crazy Hippies?
I know who would have thought that we would dress up for anything but for some reason this year we went a little crazy. I really had fun putting my costume together. With a thanks to my friend Jen on giving me instructions on how to make my hippie pants. Then I added a few patches to spice it up a bit, I really think they turned out cute. As for Paul, well he started out as Napoleon Dynamite but we couldn't find a crazy suit so he ended up buying this hippie costume. The scary thing about this is that he really likes the feel of the pants. Heaven help us if he ever wants to wear them out for real!
Happy Halloween All!
