Okay, it's been a few weeks but have to post on my way cool weekend a few weeks ago. Paul & I went away for our anniversary to a castle hidden in the woods. This place was way cool, it was built to resemble a castle and they did a great job. They even had these little cottages you could rent and these little places called gypsy wagons which were for people who were camping. The breakfasts were great & we ate dinner there one night and that was wonderful too.
We stayed in the Queen Elizabeth Suite. (Lots & lots of green!)
We are the type of people that don't really like to rest when we go away so first on our things to do was to go in the zip lines. When Paul told me about it I was like no way but he slowly convinced me that it would be a lot of fun. Then after putting on all this gear and getting hocked on to the cable, I was like no freakin way!!!! One of our tour guys said my eyes were gigantic in the beginning and then by the end they had turned so much smaller. I would recommend it to anyone we had a blast, plus our tour guys were pretty cool too!
Canopy Tours

ATV Riding
I just like to ride around and Paul likes to try a bunch of tricks. (But not as crazy as the 2 brothers, now they were nuts!!!)
We did some shopping and needed something else to do. So we did what everyone else was doing in these little butt town, we went to a movie. So the picture below is the movie theatre and the other pic is whats around it. Yes, this place was out in the middle of nowhere and lets just say it felt the same on the inside as it did the outside.
And a huge Thanks to my mom for taking care of our 3 crazies and managing their activities, you did a great job!

Our restaurants! The food at these places is so yummy that we would drive here just to eat dinner at one of them. The best BBQ ever and the Mexican was just the way it should me made.

Looks like a great weekend! We loved the canopy tour as well. I bet your Mom had as much fun as you did!
What a fabulous get away! Looks like tons of fun. I am glad you did the zip line.
