Snip Snip

Mackenzie sure had a fun trip to the dentist! She had to have some of her gum removed, the skin that hung down between her two front teeth needed to be removed so that when see gets braces the teeth will stay together. So he cut the skin back and then had to put in two stitches that will be removed on Thursday. I wanted to get a picture of her and Dr. Steve but she was ready to get out of there as so as he said he was done. He is the best dentist ever, knows just what to do with kids and makes it such an easy process. This process went well until Mackenzie moved her head at the same time he brought the needle up to give her the shot and then she freaked. After that he just talked to her until she calmed down and then started again when she was ready. I wish I could be as patient as he was, just with everything! Mackenzie is doing well and can't wait to get that string out of her mouth. Oh the title is a joke between Mackenzie and I, we always knew she was going to have this down so we named it the snip snip. So when I made the appointment for it, I told her she had something on Monday and she got very excited. She asked what what is going on and all I had to say was SNIP SNIP and she freaked!
