This is one of my favorite family traditions that I started when Mackenzie was about 3 years old. No I didn't have this tradition growing up but a friend of mine did and I knew I wanted to do that with my kids.
My kids each get to have their own Christmas Tree in their room. Every year my mom & I buy them a new ornament to add to their collection. This year 2 of my kids out grew their little tiny Christmas Trees and to their luck their mom loves Christmas and bought them bigger trees.(both second hand of course)
Kenzie's new tree, I think its 6 feet so she will have this one for awhile.
Mariah's new tree, I think hers is 5 feet and this will last her awhile too.
Well Mason gets to stick with a little tiny tree for awhile too!
My favorite thing about this tradition is watching my kids each year pull out their ornaments with such excitement and decorate their own tree.
This is my second year with this amazing 12 foot tree and I love the beauty it brings to my home.
The following are just a few of my favorite ornaments and I love the memories I have when looking at them.
Christmas is my favorite holiday by far!
