Character Counts

This morning we woke up at 5:30 am to get ready to attend a Character Counts Award Breakfast for Mackenzie that was held before school. About a month ago Kenzie came home and said that her teacher nominated her for some character award and said I'm not sure what it is ask my teacher. I volunteer at the school and on my Thursday, I was able to talk to her and find out what it was for. Teachers in our school district can nominate a student that they feel shows good character. Kenzie's teacher sent in a 2 page summery of how she feels that Kenzie shows good character traits. We are so proud of Kenzie for just being who she is. We know she has a good heart and cares about others and am so glad to show her that it does payoff to be a good person. We love her very much!
