Finally the long awaited post is here regarding the Fabulous Beekman Boys. One night Paul stumbled across this show on Plant Green about these two guys Brent & Josh that left their New York life style to run a farm. At first I didn't think I would like it but it sure is funny how it grows on you. So one night we had watched a couple episodes and decided to order some of their soap and cheese.

We were so excited then it finally arrived and this is how they came.

First it the soaps, there is one for every month. As you can see I lifted January's out and underneath it tells a little bit about that months soap. January says: "Brrr." That's what January means at Beekman 1802. The air is crisp, the snow is clean, and the smell of the pine forest fills our noses while sledding. It's winter at its most wintry. And it takes our breath away. They all have very unique smells and January does smell of pine. We love all the months scents. I can't wait to finish our half bath so I can start sharing these wonderful scents with everyone.

Now for the cheese it's called Blaak and it is so divine. It's a semi-hard aged raw milk goat/cow cheese (60/40) Natural rind, coated with hardwood ash. I am a huge cheese person and I think this cheese is delicious. However I don't care for the ash on the outside but everyone is different with what they like so just cut it off or leave it on. We really enjoyed the cheese and plan to order more during the holiday's. And yes, we ate that whole thing with the exception of having our friends enjoy some too.
