This past week was the girls Spring Break and what a week it was. Lets just say the first 2 days we just chilled at home, one day we didn't even get out of our PJ's til the late afternoon. Maybe some might say a waste but I say a well needed rest. We are always on the go so a break is always welcome. As you can see we obviously ate at Steak & Shake, one of the kids favorites. Wednesday we went to the outlet stores with my cousin and her kids. It was a little windy but at lest the sun was out definitely a bonus. We had a great time shopping and with 5 kids you could call it a miracle. I was really impressed, I wasn't even stressed out and for me that's a miracle. On Thursday we went to the zoo with some friends and of course forgot my camera. We had a great time, arrived early and was able to see a lot before the crowds started coming. Then we were minus one kid that went to a sleep over which is weird how different life is with only 2.
Then the big day arrived April 10th, The Hannah Montana Movie came out. I bought tickets to the noon show on the Ultra screen, the girls were so excited. We got there at 11:20 and the line already was forming at the door, we were about in the middle of the line by the time they opened the doors. Then right as they were going to open all these people run to the other doors, okay a piece if advice don't run to doors that don't have handles on the outside expecting to beat everyone else. I'm sorry but that's just stupid. Surprising enough the movie was good and the girls really enjoyed the movie.

On Saturday I promised the girls they could have an Easter Egg Hunt and invite some friends. So they each had a friend over to do crafts and hunt for eggs. This activity was pretty low key but the girls said afterwards they had a fun time. I guess that makes me feel better since I just through it together the night before.

Saturday night, the girls danced in the church talent show. Mackenzie danced with Mariah to her recital song. I big Thanks to Mackenzie for stepping in a week before since Mariah's other partner didn't work out. Mariah did a wonderful job since this is technically her 3rd time performing on a stage. She actually smiled the whole time and a good smile not her cheesy one. We are so proud of her!! Mackenzie also danced to her trio song, the other girls couldn't make it but she did an amazing job doing her first solo. I know she was very nervous but you couldn't tell on stage, she did an amazing job. You did GREAT Mackenzie, we are so proud of you!!!!

Sunday was Easter's!
(I'll have to tell you later why we call it that now)

I love putting together Easter baskets, probably because my mom did such a good job growing up. We put the baskets out the night before so that the Easter Bunny can fill up the plastic eggs with candy. Now Paul & I always get them a few things to enjoy with their baskets. Mason loved the eggs and especially the jelly beans. He is obsessed with them, don't even think about only giving him one or he will come after you until you give him more.

After church we tried to take a few pictures of our family but only one turned out. Mom I love you dearly but you were not given the gift to use anything electrical, sorry you have my gifts but this isn't one of them. I do love you for trying, Thanks!!!
We had a great week and my girls got along (how did that happen) which made it a wonderful week. Now back to the grime of our everyday life!

WOW great post. Sounds like a busy but great week! Glad you got some needed rest and relaxation! Nothing wrong with that! I had no luck with Easter pics too. Payten was NOT going to stay anywhere for any amount of time!! Oh well, I have my memories!
